cancellation Policy

We require a 24-hour cancellation notice, and if rescheduling, a 12-hour notice. We reserve time for you and ask you to respect our time and the other people waiting in line.

When you book an appointment, you agree that you have read our policies and fully understand the information available online. Please contact us if you are going to be late, as this could result in the forfeiture or rescheduling of your appointment.

We do give 2 free passes, things come up and I get that, but try to make it fair for everyone, so after two no shows or last-minute cancellations, we charge 100% of the booked service. {Third no show/last minute cancel} *We can discuss this with you prior & require a card on file to book your appointment after the 2nd no show/last minute reschedule.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my spray tan appt?

Please refer to our Pre + Post tan guidelines, as well as ‘Day Of’ preparation. You will find things like showering, shaving, exfoliating the night before your appointment, not applying lotion at least 2 hours before your spray tan, etc.

How long will my tan last?

Most spray tans last roughly 7-10 days, although certain factors can extend or shorten that period of time. It depends on how well you follow the pre + post tan guidelines & how well you “baby” or take care of it.

Is there anything I shouldn’t use on my skin after my tan?

Avoid water + sweating until after your first rinse/shower. Sweating contributes to fading even after your first rinse. Avoid scented lotions, perfumes, products including ‘fragrance’, astringents, and cleaning solutions with acid or peroxide. Avoid anything harsh or chemical; this will strip and cause uneven streaking + fading in your tan. (Dove, Dial soaps are a No!)

Am I protected from the sun?

NO! The solution does not have SPF in it so you always need to apply it every single day!!

What should I use on my skin?

Moisturize, Moisturize! Natural, fragrance-free lotions will be your best friend. Aloe-based lotion and body wash are also a safe bet, contingent on whether you are not sensitive or allergic to a brand or because of other factors. Your skin has to remain hydrated—this ensures your spray tan lasts longer & fades more naturally. Drink Water!

Make it stand out.

What else can I do to make sure my tan lasts as long as possible?

While your spray tan is new, avoid chlorinated water; this will cause it to fade quicker. Cut the amount of shaving/exfoliating you do to a minimum until you’re ready for your next one. Once your tan has faded naturally, you can continue with your regular skincare routine.

When should I get a spray tan for my wedding or event?

We recommend getting your spray tan at least 1-2 days prior of the event. If your event is on Saturday, we suggest getting your spray tan Thursday evening or Friday morning.

Is it safe?

The solutions we use have been approved by the FDA for external use. You should always avoid getting it in your eyes, mouth, or nose. We provide nose filters for anyone who wants to use them, just ask us! We also ask you to hold your breath and close your eyes as we spray your face. (Don’t worry—it takes less than a second to spray your face.)

***DHA, the ingredient that tans you, FOUND in all SOLUTIONS, CANNOT BE MADE ORGANIC — NO MATTER WHO TRIES TO SELL IT TO YOU AS SUCH.

Is it safe if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

We recommend speaking with your doctor and/or not getting one if you don’t feel comfortable. The research is out there to find, and we can’t & won’t decide for you or ever pressure you. Breastfeeding: We recommend wearing a strapless bra or something similar to cover the breast/nipple area. You wouldn’t want to breastfeed before your first rinse, unless you want your baby to also have a nice tanned face. ;)

Brides:

We recommend getting a Trial Tan no less than 2 weeks before your wedding day. This allows you to make sure you are happy with the color and if we need to make any adjustments for the wedding tan, a trial lets you do that. We put in your customer file what solution/shade we did the day of the trial.
